jump manual - Manual for the 40 /Week 7 Results
Posted by makayla makayla on Wednesday, July 11, 2012
I am late posting my summary of the 7th Week! But the week is another that I was not able to dunk two hands, which I hoped, 4th July do.
I have not tested my vertical-step on Monday, as I did for the last few weeks. My best was 30.3 cm step without jumping to a 1/2 inches smaller than my best jump manual of the week 6, when my best was 30.8 inches and is.
I felt a bit run down and tired in recent weeks is not normal for me. I think this is not to eat healthier and not enough sleep. I renew the commitment to eat better and get to bed earlier.
Although my step-vertical step is near where I was in my head last year, my green drive does not appear to be so high. I think this may lead to fatigue and overtraining is done. I looked back into my old training logs and blog posts (another reason why your training and with a blog so advantageous), and I realized that if I jumped my best I was just playing basketball once held in the week three times per week reduced than normal. My body probably needs more rest!
So starting this week, I will only play once a week to get tires for several weeks and see how it affects my results. I'm also a new date for me to dunk with 2 hands. I'm really leaning toward that this is my last phase jump training for a while. It's just too easy to push the date back and all my motivation is still high, it is not as it was when I wanted to dunk before I turned 40 last year was. I was on a mission!
I wish there was a dunk contest for the old guy was going on this fall. Have a date like this would really motivate me. I'm pretty sure there's no such thing is it would probably be the worst dunk contest ever! :-)
But maybe I'll put on my own Dunk Contest? If you wish to attend more than 35 years, write a comment below. The winner will receive a 1 year's supply of Viagra!
